Woodland & pastoral wedding coordination

I coordinate every wedding personally, which means I only take a few each year. Now booking a maximum of 4 weddings for 2027.

My specialty is woodland and pastoral styling, but I coordinate weddings across the full range - from intimate and simple to glamorous and formal. If your vision doesn't match the photos here, let's talk.

Behind the scenes

Personally coordinated, start to finish

Every wedding is run by me, not handed to an assistant partway through. I review vendor contracts, manage the day-of timeline, and stay hands-on with vetting - even when a couple already has vendors in mind.

That level of involvement is exactly why I keep the calendar small.

The details nobody else catches

Anyone can tell you they're detail-oriented. Here's what that actually looks like in practice.

I test foot traffic patterns before placing the guest book table, not after. I read every vendor contract for timing conflicts before the wedding week, not during it. I know which songs need advance licensing to play off-platform, and I get them to the DJ days early instead of hoping it works out. I build separate printed timelines for family, for vendors, and for staff, because the version a caterer needs isn't the version a bride's mother needs.

None of that shows up in a single photo. All of it is the difference between a day that runs and a day that almost does.

For couples who want it, I also offer two add-ons most coordinators don't: custom day-of graphic design - signage, menus, seating charts, welcome materials built to match your exact palette - and hand-built music playlists for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, curated the way a music-industry background actually curates, not just a pre-made streaming list. Both available for an additional fee, scoped to what you need.

Long before I was coordinating weddings under string lights and pine trees, I was backstage at some of the biggest shows in the country, making sure the magic actually happened on cue.

I studied music business at Berklee College of Music, then spent seven seasons in the middle of it all at major New Orleans festivals - Jazz & Heritage, Essence, Voodoo - moving through department after department and working alongside acts like Prince, Usher, Arcade Fire, and Earth, Wind & Fire, and countless others. I've also coordinated a private event venue and run restaurants on their busiest nights, which is its own kind of spellcasting: staying calm while a hundred things happen at once.

Then I got married. I planned every detail of my own wedding myself, and it was everything I dreamed it would be - genuinely, completely magical. But somewhere in the middle of it, I remember catching myself mid-checklist instead of mid-moment, running logistics in my head during the parts I'd waited my whole life to just feel. Even with more event experience than almost anyone in the room, I still couldn't fully hand myself over to my own day. That's the thing nobody tells you about weddings: knowing how to plan one and being able to be present at your own are two completely different things.

That's the whole reason Toast in the Trees exists. I bring everything I learned running festivals and venues and restaurants into the woods with me, so that you get to have what I didn't quite get - a day where the only thing you have to do is be in it. The timeline stays invisible. All you see is the story unfolding exactly the way you dreamed it.
